Nokia N97 Mini - Short Review For A Mini Version

With a whole gamut of connectivity options to choose from – including WLAN Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G HSDPA, EDGE, micro USB and more this is a superbly equipped phone, and carrying SMS, MMS and instant messenger adds to the attractions. The push email is useful if a little on the complex side, and quad band technology means it is open to roaming. There are no complaints at all with the N97 Mini in terms of connectivity.

Less memory than the N97 is to be expected with the smaller size, but 8GB will suffice for all but the most ardent users. There is an expansion available to 16GB for those who really need it, but we simply can’t see why anyone would. Seven hours of talk time – and 320 hours standby – is not great and if you are using the more power hungry functions may lead to frequent charging, but it is no worse than many rivals and pretty good compared to those with similar features.

A very impressive handset with great browsing capability, a superb camera, decent sound system and sturdy yet sleek and stylish looks – a great effort from Nokia. When you're saving money but wanting to buy a high feature phone like the Nokia N97, you might as well get an free phone offers. Online deals are not to be scared of, if you know what you're doing. Just be wary of the details and when to collect your discounts.

Nokia X6 Mobile Phone Review

We had a go at using the X6 rather than simply putting down its appearance. The interface is all new and, we must say, at first quite difficult to handle. It’s not as straightforward as some – finding the keyboard itself was the first hurdle – and we would hope that it gets tidied up in time, but then again there are many worse and this is by no means at the bottom of the list.

Now for some good bits: first, the music player is good, and you get the much needed 3.5mm jack so you are not limited to tinny cheap headphones. A message to all other suppliers – Nokia does it, why can’t you? The much publicised ‘Comes With Music’ package is also pretty neat, and we like it rather more than it just being a gimmick.

The camera, too, is a nice system, a very clever device with the added bonus of Carl Zeiss optics, a great choice by makers who are too keen on pushing the number of megapixels rather than the actual quality of the pictures themselves. These are clear and bright, and the auto focus and flash are also good, while the 30 frames per second main video camera is backed up by a 15 fps secondary device – a good choice, so well done Nokia for this.

With 32GB of storage as standard you will never need a boost, and the Symbian operating system is as good as any, but when it all comes down to the final assessment the general feeling is that Nokia has missed trick; this is a powerful and very clever phone that offers colossal memory in a compact package, but it could be much better. Nevertheless, we suspect it will meet with a whole host o Nokia friends.

Picking a good phone is pretty hard as you have to scan and read reviews like these. However, picking a good deal is pretty easy as you can easily compare free phone offers on trusted websites.

A Review Of HTC Legend Mobile Phone

I’m sure you won’t be surprised to know that mobile phones are the fastest selling gadgets and are in high demand, worldwide. And the HTC Legend is an awesome addition to the world of mobile phones. Consumers will be enthralled when they slide your fingers over the highly responsive touch screen.

This is an elegant and sophisticated phone. It sports a cool exterior that is made out of aluminum and though it seems a little big, it is not heavy or bulky. With the Legend, you have no problems with dim reception since the bottom and the whole back are made of rubberized plastic. The battery cover is also part of the antenna so you get a clear and sharp signal. You also get nice clear images with the 3.2 inch screen with AMOLED display.

The HTC Legend supports the latest version of Android 2.1. It even comes with a new app called Friend Stream. What this does is combine Twitter, Flickr and Facebook and it displays them all together. So instead of having to log in to all the different websites to look for updates, you can just flick through the Legend and get then all at once.

To make it easy to call friends and family, the Legend’s dialer offers a key pad, list of contacts, call log shortcut and Smart Dialing so you can select or just dial one contact without bothering to open your Contact app.

So if you love social networking, you should be very satisfied with the Legend’s user friendly OS. One problem seems to be that the system lags a bit when using Friend Stream. However, this problem can be easily fixed by turning off any extra animation and visual affects.
