Nokia N900 Mobilephone Review - More than just a Smartphone

It is undeniable that Nolia is one of the those mobilephones developers which can be considered to be one of the best. Over the decades, Nokia has become one of those mobile companies who are capable of making good packages with their phone designs and it is because of this that they have won a lot of wards. One of the examples of these models is the N95. Then, next in line came the Nokia N97 which, though may not be the best phone ever, but nevertheless till good. What comes after is the touchscreen mobilephone with a lot of features, the Nokia N900.

For most users, they find the Nokia N900 more as a small computer than a Smartphone. This phone uses a very powerful Operating System, the MAemo 5, which is also Linux based, To top it all, it has the ARM Cortex – A8 superscalar microprocessor core that runs at around 600 MHz. Its like a compressed version of a personal computer eight years ago. Thus, even when you are playing videos, or watching Youtube or just about anything that you do with your phone, it still runs fast. Given this feature, this phone is just perfect for those people who are into multimedia.

The Internet connectivity of the phone is as fast as what you use at home as it uses high speed broadband. It has Flash 9.4 support and has full screen browsing and you’re going to love its sharp 800 x 480 touch-screen display.

The latest camera resolution is around 12 megapixels, and Nokia N900’s camera is only around 5 megapixels. But even though its only 5 Megapixels, it easily beats camera phones with its Carl Zeiss optical lens which is coupled with a powerful LED Flash.

Whether it is seen as a mobile phone or a mobile computer, the Nokia N900 is still the best phone you will ever get. It has features that will make other latest phones cry. 3 Skypephone S2x Mobile Phone Review

Internet Connectivity:

The good news regarding internet connectivity is that it comes with Bluetooth, GPRS, and 3G HDSPA as well as quad band technology. The downside is that it lacks wi-fi and GPS, which may be a big disappointment for some. Also included is a user friendly browser, an email client, and SMS and MMS. Alas, its tiny buttons make texting a pain.

Memory and Talk Time:

Fortunately, this mobile has a fantastic battery life, providing you with 272 minutes of talk time and 333 hours of standby. This means you can use it heavily for several days without needing to charge it. This also means that if you only plan to use this phone for long distance calls across the country, light usage will mean it lasts even longer. As for memory, its 180 MB isn't a vast amount, but you can expand it with a micro SD card.

Verdict:

For the most part, the 3 Skypephone S2X is a great mobile for those who make frequent long distance or overseas calls. Whether you're keeping in touch with family, significant others, or business contacts, this mobile gives you the luxury of not needing to constantly be at your computer to take advantage of all the goodies Skype provides. While its iffy sound quality, weak camera, and lack of wi-fi may be too disappointing for some users, the phone's vivid screen, relatively simple user interface, and attractive, sturdy exterior are also traits that make it worth considering.

Picking a good phone is pretty hard as you have to scan and read reviews like these. However, picking a good deals is pretty easy as you can easily compare phone deals with free gifts on trusted websites.

Nokia E55 Mobilephone Review

We hate to bear bad news now that everyone is all hyped up about the connectivity and the web browsing, but the camera the comes with the E55 is a real letdown. It’s a good thing that this phone is basically geared toward the business person, because the camera is surely poor quality. The camera is 3 megapixels and has a basic LED flash. Unfortunately is does not have a decent auto focus system which is a shame, since the user interface for the camera offers the user a variety of options to play with that can change the overall quality of the photos.

We were impressed with the hybrid alphanumeric QWERTY keyboard which we found to work very well. We also like the fact that this device is nice and slim and has a good battery life.

We were a little disappointed in the Series 60 operating system, we don’t think it‘s as good as the iPhone operating system or the Android.

Overall Nokia has created a mobile phone that exceeds our expectations. By listening to the wants and needs of the consumer, they took the time to add the little extra touches here and there that make a big difference. The bottom line is that the Nokia E55 is impressively thin and sleek; it has great battery life and is extremely easy to use. The half QWERTY keyboard takes a little getting used to, but once you conquer it, its very effective.

The Nokia E55 is good practical phone with nice features to boast. Buying this phone online would be a good choice especially with deals on mobile contracts

Nokia 7100 Supernova Mobile Phone Review

You’re probably thinking that an attractively-designed mobile phone would be expensive. That may be the case with most phones, but definitely not with Nokia 7100 Supernova. Encased in black plastic and highlighted with blue, red, or pink accents, Supernova is a tease to the eyes. However, it appears that there’s very little else this little phone has to offer.

Weighing in at 103.5g, is not exactly lightweight but is quite compact that it can fit in your pocket. This slider phone is also quite sturdy enough it wouldn’t break easily, unless, perhaps, if you willfully drop it to the floor or throw it on the wall. The slider snaps open smoothly, too – no worries of it splitting off of the handset after just several uses.

The keypad is very user-friendly. It’s so designed in a way that makes sending messages or dialing numbers hassle-free. It also sports an easy-to-use interface that would have been perfect if not for the occasional glitches and the fact that the screen is only 2 inches big – definitely not something made for viewing photos or web pages.

The sound quality is pretty basic. It comes with a radio and a music player that’s compatible with MP3, Midi, WAV, AMR, and AAC formats, but it doesn’t even allow you to use your own preferred set of headphones as it comes with just a 2.5mm headphone jack. This leaves you with no other choice but to use the headphone set that comes with the package, which honestly, is not of good quality. So if you are looking for a great listening experience, you have to seek elsewhere.

Picking a good phone is pretty hard as you have to scan and read reviews like these. However, picking a good deals is pretty easy as you can easily compare best phone deals of UK on trusted websites.

HTC Hero Mobile Phone – Impressive

I’m sure by now everyone is getting pretty tired of all the touch screen phones on the market. Yes, the HTC Hero does have touch screen, but it also has buttons on its façade. This gives it a different look and makes it stand out in the crowd of all the carbon copy models available today.

Most mobile phones on the market today try to achieve the sleek, sophisticated look for their phones. Most are rectangular, flat and contoured. When you look at the HTC Hero, you will notice that the bottom of the device extends away from the screen, making the device more pronounced. It actually makes the Hero look like a flip phone with the flap down.

What will probably shock some people is the smattering of actual buttons at that are present on this device. There is a button to accept calls and a button to reject calls. The other buttons are for easy navigation of the Internet.

The Hero uses Android 1.5 version and sports the popular trackball. In the past, HTC phones have been noted for catering to social networking, the Hero is no exception. Facebook is just one of the many social networking apps this model employs.

If you happen to check out the specs for the HTC Hero, you’ll notice that there is no internal memory for users to store their goodies. There is only a micro SD card to rely on. However, you can go up to 32GB of external memory; this should be enough to store all your music and videos. Especially since this phone comes with an array of music and video clients plus a standard audio jack.

If you browse a lot searching for phones, you'll encounter a lot of free mobilephone line rental offers and probably a cheap HTC Hero with free gifts. These deals actually are good plus you can get a free laptop, you just have to follow the deal closely for it to work.

HTC Wildfire - Touchscreen On Fire

If you are looking for a cell phone that has all the much favored features of a smart-phone, then you might want to include the HTC Wildifre in your list of phones to choose from. It has all what you need to have to stay connected in social networking sites and much more. Yes, it may not have jaw-dropping screen resolution specs but it has the power of a smart-phone in a relatively affordable price. This would surely send some heads turning.

The phone runs on an Android OS and is capable of connecting through Wi-Fi and HSDPA. It also has a GPS feature. Contrary to its price, the phone looks elegant and expensive and allows you to readily connect to your social networking friends with its address book merging feature. Also, it is not at all difficult to sync your photos with Flickr and Facebook using this phone. To top it all, because it has Flash Lite, you can easily access the Internet.

However, if you are the kind of user who is particular with how everything looks, then this phone might be a turn down. Its low resolution screen makes it difficult for some websites to load. This defeats the purpose of having an Adroid OS in your phone in the first place. Yet, this is not much of a letdown considering all the features it has to offer to users.

When you consider the ups and downs of HTC Wildfire, you might consider it as an inferior model to HTC Desire. However, it does not mean that the phone is already a big disappointment. What it was not able to offer in its screen resolution, it tried to make up with its software and hardware features. If you want save money, try HTC Wildfire mobilephone compare with other mobilephone offers that will suit your budget needs.

Nokia N97 Mini - Short Review For A Mini Version

With a whole gamut of connectivity options to choose from – including WLAN Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G HSDPA, EDGE, micro USB and more this is a superbly equipped phone, and carrying SMS, MMS and instant messenger adds to the attractions. The push email is useful if a little on the complex side, and quad band technology means it is open to roaming. There are no complaints at all with the N97 Mini in terms of connectivity.

Less memory than the N97 is to be expected with the smaller size, but 8GB will suffice for all but the most ardent users. There is an expansion available to 16GB for those who really need it, but we simply can’t see why anyone would. Seven hours of talk time – and 320 hours standby – is not great and if you are using the more power hungry functions may lead to frequent charging, but it is no worse than many rivals and pretty good compared to those with similar features.

A very impressive handset with great browsing capability, a superb camera, decent sound system and sturdy yet sleek and stylish looks – a great effort from Nokia. When you're saving money but wanting to buy a high feature phone like the Nokia N97, you might as well get an free phone offers. Online deals are not to be scared of, if you know what you're doing. Just be wary of the details and when to collect your discounts.

Nokia X6 Mobile Phone Review

We had a go at using the X6 rather than simply putting down its appearance. The interface is all new and, we must say, at first quite difficult to handle. It’s not as straightforward as some – finding the keyboard itself was the first hurdle – and we would hope that it gets tidied up in time, but then again there are many worse and this is by no means at the bottom of the list.

Now for some good bits: first, the music player is good, and you get the much needed 3.5mm jack so you are not limited to tinny cheap headphones. A message to all other suppliers – Nokia does it, why can’t you? The much publicised ‘Comes With Music’ package is also pretty neat, and we like it rather more than it just being a gimmick.

The camera, too, is a nice system, a very clever device with the added bonus of Carl Zeiss optics, a great choice by makers who are too keen on pushing the number of megapixels rather than the actual quality of the pictures themselves. These are clear and bright, and the auto focus and flash are also good, while the 30 frames per second main video camera is backed up by a 15 fps secondary device – a good choice, so well done Nokia for this.

With 32GB of storage as standard you will never need a boost, and the Symbian operating system is as good as any, but when it all comes down to the final assessment the general feeling is that Nokia has missed trick; this is a powerful and very clever phone that offers colossal memory in a compact package, but it could be much better. Nevertheless, we suspect it will meet with a whole host o Nokia friends.

Picking a good phone is pretty hard as you have to scan and read reviews like these. However, picking a good deal is pretty easy as you can easily compare free phone offers on trusted websites.

Nokia 7230 Mobile Phone Review - A Trendy Slider Phone that is fully loaded

The new Nokia 7230 is a sleek-looking phone that looks striking. It also comes with a wide range of features. However, there is nothing innovative about its features. For a high-priced mobile handset this one, users may except some more innovation as far as its features are concerned.

The 7230 undoubtedly scores in looks. It comes in pink and black color, with chrome and silver borders. The slim-built, stylish phone with easy-to-use keypad is a pleasure to hold in your hand. It has a slide-out keypad that can be opened and closed effortlessly. However, the new model also has the feel of a mere plastic toy handset, although Nokia has tried hard to give it a stylish and innovative look. Apart from this, its 2.4 inch colour TFT screen is very clear, even though it is a bit small.

The phone runs on the Series 40 operating system, which is user-friendly. However, consumers may find it a little boring, considering more modern operating systems are available in the market.

It has a 2-GB memory storage capacity. It has even less than a 6-hour talk time as well as a 370-hour of standby. For this you require to keep it for charging every now and then. This kind of feature is definitely not expected in a high-end slim-built phone.

If you are looking for a cute mobile handset, for making and receiving call, coupled with a few interesting features, Nokia 7230 handsets may be the ideal choice for you. However, if you are looking for features such as camera flash, wi-fi connectivity and more advanced features, you should give a second thought.

This are just some of the features that the Nokia 7230. This mobilephone is packed and it's worth every penny. If you're interested in buying Nokia 7230, it's best that you buy it online. There are phone deals with free gifts and offers with great discounts and they are easy to pay monthly.

Motorola Aura Mobile Phone Review - A Good Looking Phone with Many Features

The Motorola Aura has an extraordinary design. The futuristic stainless steel exterior and flashy effects puts this phone in a class all its own. Unfortunately it’s priced well over one thousand dollar

Appearance:

This phone is definitely one of a kind. The first thing you will notice is its 1.5 inch circular TFT screen which is designed with a two carat sapphire crystal lens, sporting sixteen million colors. The artistically designed stainless steel exterior is truly futuristic and is very sturdy in your hand. The phone weighs 141g, which is quite heavy, but this fact only makes the phone seem more luxurious.

The phone’s operating system unfortunately is not as sophisticated as the phone’s looks. The simplest task takes many steps because you need to press the navigation button several times in order to highlight the right option or icon and even though the circular screen is classy looking, viewing some photos and websites can be a problem.

Sound:

The sound quality of this phone is very high tech. The Aura has included Crystal Talk which minimizes all outside noise and lets you talk in a crowded area without raising your voice. The media player supports MP3, WMA, WAV and AAC+ as well as downloadable ringtones.

However, this phone does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack which is a sin for a phone that is so costly. Unfortunately, the headphones provided with the phone lessen the sound quality making it dull and dim.

Camera:

The camera of the Aura is extremely disappointing. This 2 megapixel camera does not have a flash so your photos are blurry and grainy unless you take pictures in a bright area. There is a digital zoom as well as several camera settings. The video recording abilities are also lacking.

Although the phone’s circular screen looks classy, it does not allow you to view your videos or photos like you would on a PC.

Internet Connectivity:

To keep you connected, the Aura supports quad band technology along with Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and USB. Also provided are EMS, SMS, MMS, email client and some downloadable games. Sadly, Wi-Fi and HSPDA are both missing and for browsing only WAP 2.0 XHTML is available.

Memory and Talk Time:

Unfortunately, the high technology and the flashiness of this phone all puts a drain on the battery life. If you’re lucky, you will get only 7 hours of talk time and 410 hours of standby. Also, storage space for your emails, texts and photos is limited with only two gigabytes of memory.

Conclusion

Unfortunately, its futuristic, good looks is about all the Motorola Aura has going for it. It may a few other good features, but the inferior camera and media player, complex OS and lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack , Wi-Fi and camera flash is just inexcusable, especially for a phone with such a high price tag. The Motorola Aura is pretty costly and there various free phones online which I think you'd be more interested in if you're on a tight budget. These phones are of course the cheaper variety but with online deals, they are now offered free.
