HTC Hero Mobile Phone – Impressive

I’m sure by now everyone is getting pretty tired of all the touch screen phones on the market. Yes, the HTC Hero does have touch screen, but it also has buttons on its façade. This gives it a different look and makes it stand out in the crowd of all the carbon copy models available today.

Most mobile phones on the market today try to achieve the sleek, sophisticated look for their phones. Most are rectangular, flat and contoured. When you look at the HTC Hero, you will notice that the bottom of the device extends away from the screen, making the device more pronounced. It actually makes the Hero look like a flip phone with the flap down.

What will probably shock some people is the smattering of actual buttons at that are present on this device. There is a button to accept calls and a button to reject calls. The other buttons are for easy navigation of the Internet.

The Hero uses Android 1.5 version and sports the popular trackball. In the past, HTC phones have been noted for catering to social networking, the Hero is no exception. Facebook is just one of the many social networking apps this model employs.

If you happen to check out the specs for the HTC Hero, you’ll notice that there is no internal memory for users to store their goodies. There is only a micro SD card to rely on. However, you can go up to 32GB of external memory; this should be enough to store all your music and videos. Especially since this phone comes with an array of music and video clients plus a standard audio jack.

If you browse a lot searching for phones, you'll encounter a lot of free mobilephone line rental offers and probably a cheap HTC Hero with free gifts. These deals actually are good plus you can get a free laptop, you just have to follow the deal closely for it to work.
